The Sud-Aviation Caravelle was the first jet airliner with rear-mounted engines. Only few years after the DeHavilland "Comet", it brings a significant contribution to the jet age of travel when it first flew in 1955.
SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System) was the launch customer, and got its own first Caravelle in 1959.
Named "Finn Viking", here she is in the early 60's livery of SAS.
